Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemums, sometimes called mums or chrysanths, are flowering plants of the genus Chrysanthemum in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Asia and northeastern Europe. Victory (with Windows)

Soldier's Monument, Worcester Common, Worcester, MA. In 1871, the Soldiers' Monument Committee commissioned Rogers to design the memorial. The City of Worcester appropriated $35,000, and an addition $15,000 was raised by subscription. The monument was dedicated on July 15, 1874. Canon 5D2, EF 70-200 @165mm. 1/1600s, f/4, ISO 100.
